As an Enterprise Migration Architect you design and implement comprehensive data migration projects, guaranteeing a seamless shift from Teradata to the cloud-based Snowflake platform. This role involves understanding customer needs, developing comprehensive migration plans, and collaborating with various teams to achieve seamless data movement and minimize downtime.
You play a key role in the migration process, ensuring a successful transition of data from legacy systems to Snowflake. This position requires a deep understanding of Snowflake, data warehousing concepts, and cloud-based data architectures.
You are employed by Cognizant and become part of a small team placed at the Customer site. You are ideally located in Stockholm or Gothenburg, but are required to be on site in Stockholm 3 days/week.

Competencies and experiences
We believe that you have experience from leading end-to-end migration of data and workloads from on-premises data platforms (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata) or cloud-based systems to Snowflake.
In order to be successful in this role you need have strong stakeholder and collaboration management skills, since you work closely with data engineers, business analysts, and IT teams on a daily basis. Furthermore you need experience from enforcing data governance policies and compliance with security and regulatory standards.
